Delivery & Shipping Policy

General Shipping Information

  • Deliveries are made to your doorstep only (ground floor).

  • Additional charges apply for express delivery, same-day delivery, upstairs/lift carrying, assembly, or other extra services. Fees depend on item size and weight and generally range from $40–$120 per item, per person, per flight of stairs.

  • Delivery teams follow standard delivery instructions. Unavoidable delays are not the responsibility of Profurniture or third-party couriers.

  • Third-party companies do not unpack, remove packaging, or dispose of old furniture.

  • A re-delivery fee may apply if the customer is unavailable to receive the goods.

  • Any transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the goods, with photo or video evidence submitted to both the carrier and our store.

Delivery

Once you have added all items to your shopping cart and confirmed that your shipping address, suburb, and postcode are correct, the shipping cost will be calculated based on the distance from your address to our store.

All shipping rates are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
We may deliver your order using our own delivery team or a third-party logistics provider.

Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.
For locations not included in our shipping options, please contact us at sales@profurniture.co.nz. Our team will review your address and provide a customised shipping quote.

We offer both urban and rural delivery services within New Zealand. Please note that we only deliver within New Zealand. A minimum delivery fee of $50 normally applies, depending on the distance from our Christchurch Distribution Centre.

Full payment must be received before the goods can be delivered on the agreed date. Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability and your delivery location. If no specific delivery date is selected during checkout, we will notify you one day in advance before delivery.

Private mailboxes and PO Boxes are not accepted for delivery.

Oversized, overweight, or special-category items may not be deliverable to rural addresses, or additional fees may apply. Please contact our customer service team if you would like to discuss available options.

The Supplier will make every effort to meet delivery schedules but is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is considered completed when the goods leave our premises or when they are unloaded off the truck at the Customer’s address.

The Supplier shall not be liable for loss or damage caused by delivery delays. Please inspect your goods for transit damage before the carrier leaves, and ensure any damage is noted on the delivery docket.

All shipments are checked before leaving our warehouse. If any item is missing from your order, please contact Profurniture immediately so we can resolve the issue.


Free Delivery Promotion

Free delivery applies to eligible orders within the South Island (non-rural areas) with a minimum spend of $1500 NZD.
This is a limited-time promotional service offered to provide customers with a more affordable local delivery option, especially given the high domestic freight costs in New Zealand.

To minimise delivery costs, free delivery orders—excluding addresses within the same city as our warehouse—are grouped and arranged based on delivery direction and route, and dispatched using our own vehicle fleet.
Therefore:

  • Delivery does not follow a fixed schedule

  • Delivery timeframes are longer than standard courier services

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to contact our team before placing an order to confirm approximate delivery arrangements

  • Free delivery orders are typically completed within 4 weeks (excluding pre-order items)

Profurniture reserves the final interpretation right of this promotional offer and may end the promotion at any time without prior notice.


Pick-Up (Click & Collect)

We offer Free Pickup from our Christchurch Distribution Centre.
Due to high demand, same-day pick-up is unavailable. Please book your pickup appointment in advance with our customer support team.

Our team will notify you once your items are ready for collection.
You may also arrange a third party to pick up on your behalf. They must provide the invoice number and your authorisation. Pre-arrangement and confirmation are required.

Double bed frames are ideal for couples with a room is not big enough for a queen/king-size bed frame.

What if I order the wrong size or it doesn’t fit?

A situation like this may occur. When your newly purchased sofa bed NZ doesn't fit properly, contact us immediately. We maintain a return policy which allows us to help customers through exchange or refund options depending on their specific cases.
